Notable Players
Manufacturer
Surridge continued as the club's kit manufacturer.
Main Sponsors
One Call continued as the clubs main home shirt sponsor and also featured on the rear of the away & third shirts.
Tbc.
Secondary Sponsors
Senior Salmon continued to sponsor the rear of the home shirt and also the rear of all shorts.
The home kit saw no changes from the previous season.
There was a small change to the colour of the names and numbers with a lighter blue chosen to that of the previous season.
The new away kit was a striking black and amber design with a complex pattern of lined arrows and shapes which was also seen on the third shirt and four goalkeeper shirts. There was also a subtle stripe throughout including the shorts.
Unlike the home shirt and previous away shirt the player and replica versions were the same. It saw a return to a more rounded collar following the v-neck design on the home shirt.
Gold numbers and letters were used for the first time on this kit and also used on the third kit.
The club returned to having a third kit for the first time since 2014/15. This green design mirrored the same pattern as the away shirt with the same subtle stripes also.
Interestingly the 'Senior Salmon' rear of short sponsor was located on the opposite side for this kit compared to all other kits.
Despite it being a popular design with the fans it was only worn on two occasions in the regular league season and then used again in the first play off semi final.
Incredibly four completely different goalkeeper kits were worn this season.
This black kit had the same pattern found across other shirts and has been classed as the home goalkeeper shirt for this website due to the home sponsorship and fact it was worn more times than any of the other four goalkeeper kits.
It saw no variations with the black shorts and socks worn on all occasions this kit was worn. It was worn on the final day of the regular season away at MK Dons in short sleeves which appear to have been cut by goalkeeper Conrad Logan.
Although this wasn't officially classed as the away goalkeeper kit it has the away sponsor and was used alongside the home sponsored black goalkeeper shirt for the first half of the season.
It saw the same pattern used as other shirts this season but with a lighter more subtle colour scheme used compared the the bright Orange and fluorescent Yellow goalkeeper shirts.
The white numbers are a bit of a strange one as they can be hard to see at a distance.
Despite being used frequently at the start of the season it wasn't worn after being used for the last time in November away at Charlton in the FA Cup.
It was worn once with the black shorts from the home goalkeeper kit away at Yeovil in August due to a perceived clash with the Yeovil white shorts and socks. For some reason plain black socks were used as opposed to the ones with a grey trim.
A really bright kit this one using the same pattern as other shirts this season.
It was used sparingly at the start of the season only being seen three times before Christmas but then saw it used in twelve matches post Christmas.
Those first three times this kit was used it was worn with the black shorts from the home goalkeeper kit along with a pair of black socks with a matching Orange trim. These socks did not appear again following the introduction of the Orange shorts and socks first worn away to Grimsby on New Years Day.
On a similar bright note this fluorescent yellow design contained the same pattern as other shirts this season but, along with the Orange goalkeeper shirt, really stood out.
It was actually only worn once during the regular league season worn in a home victory over local rivals Notts County in December. On that occasion it was worn with the black shorts and socks from the home goalkeeper kit. Notts County wore white shorts on this occasion so this could have been to avoid a clash.
The matching fluorescent shorts and socks only appeared in the two play off semi finals.
As with the Grey goalkeeper kit the white numbering and letters were hard to see at a distance.
As part of an FA initiative the clubs were to wear a competition patch on the right arm but were free to obtain sponsorship on the other arm during FA Cup matches. The club did not exploit this opportunity and chose to keep the Skybet left sleeve patch on the shirt.
The first round of the FA Cup fell on Remembrance Day hence the poppy and FA Cup patches, for the replay just the FA Cup patches were worn but the club lost heavily away at Charlton.
The club wore a poppy on the shirt for the first time however chose to do so firstly at home to MK Dons on 27th October which seems early as there was a much closer home league game to Remembrance Day on 6th October against Grimsby. Weirdly a poppy was not worn in this game.
Poppy's featured on the shirts again on Remembrance Day itself in the FA Cup against Charlton.
The play-off opponents Newport rather forced the hand of the club to wear the third kit, only worn twice prior to this including the regular league fixture at Newport.
Play-off sleeve patches were worn for the first time in the clubs history replacing the usual league patch. The right arm Skybet patch remained the same.
The fluorescent yellow goalkeeper kit was worn in both legs with the yellow shorts and socks seeing action for the first time.
