Main Sponsor
VK Vodka Kick continued as the clubs main sponsor.
Promotion to Division Two (now League One) meant a new shirt but it was extremely similar to the previous seasons promotion winning shirt.
The shade of amber and the material stayed the same but a horizontal blue panel to house the sponsor was added along with two pieces of horizontal blue piping.
Writing was added on the back of the shirts that read 'simply a stag'.
It was one of the most used home shirts with the away shirt only seen on five occasions.
The away shirt remained the same as the previous season other than updated league sleev patches.
The difference came in the shorts with a light blue short used exclusively as opposed to the matching dark blue shorts used in 2001/02.
It was only used on five occasions making it one of the lowest used away shirts.
The goalkeeper kit remained the same as the previous season albeit with the new style 2002/03 Football League sleeve patches.
This kit was a green variation of the more familiar grey goalkeeper kit and saw action exclusively in the latter part of the season being used by goalkeeper Keith Welch during an injury related period of absence for regular goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington.
