Kit Details

Manufacturer

Errea entered in their first season as the club's kit manufacturer replacing Canterbury.

Main Sponsors

Hymas Homes, owned by Director Steve Hymas, continued as the club's shirt sponsor across all shirts.

Secondary Sponsors

Local radio station Mansfield 103.2 became the club's rear of shirt sponsor appearing on the back of all shirts.

Home Kit & Variations

For Errea's first home shirt as club manufacturer they cam up with a partial stripe pattern which was cut up by a curved white line. It was also a much darker amber than previous seasons and the darkest amber colour since 1997/98.

Interestingly to make the badge fit in between the striped pattern it was reduced in size compared to previous seasons and would go back to a more familiar size the following season.

Various different combinations were worn of this home kit with both yellow and blue shorts worn with a combination of blue and yellow socks. Interestingly the blue socks worn were plain with no supplier or club markings.

Away Kit & Variations

The away kit contained a red colour not seen since the 80s for Mansfield.

This kit was inspired by the England national team and was released early in the summer of 2010 to allow fans to wear ahead of England's World Cup campaign in South Africa.

The shirt did come with a bit of controversy with Irish striker Rob Duffy apparently refusing to wear the shirt.

It was worn a total of six times during the season.

Third Kit & Variations

The third kit was a more familiar dark blue with light blue trims.

This kit wasn't widely available for supporters to buy and only released in low numbers in the club shop at the end of the season.

Goalkeeper Kit - Home & Variations

The first goalkeeper kit released by Errea was a rather bright green colour with some more simple black detailing at the top and around the back.

Interestingly goalkeeper Alan Marriott wore Umbro sponsored, Blue Square patched shorts for a period of the season before swapping to Errea shorts with the club logo.

Goalkeeper Kit - Away

The away goalkeeper shirt was actually only worn four times during the season but appeared only in long sleeves.

It was also a different pattern to the home goalkeeper shirt and worn exclusively with black shorts and socks.

FA Trophy

For the clubs first FA Trophy final at Wembley Stadium against Darlington the club wore match specific detailing marking the occasion. This version was also released for supporters to buy.

FA Trophy specific sleeve patches for worn for the very first time albeit GK Alan Marriott had the final's sleeve patches on a different arm to the rest of the players. Interestingly captain Adam Murray played part of the game with a regular Blue Square patched shirt.

Green socks were worn with the GK kit for the one and only time this season.

Unfortunately the match ended in a last minute defeat in extra time.
