Notable Players
Manufacturer
Errea continued as the club's kit manufacturer.
Main Sponsors
Greene King IPA became the club's main (and only) front of shirt sponsor seeing their logo across all shirts.
Secondary Sponsors
Local radio station Mansfield 103.2 continued to sponsor the rear of the home shirt. It also appeared on the rear of all goalkeeper shirts.
Errea's second attempt at a home shirt following the successful striped shirt the previous season saw a mainly amber shirt with a blue curved section at the top left (when facing) of the shirt. This pattern continued down one arm and onto the same arm around the back.
As with the previous season it wasn't a pattern familiar to Mansfield or one seen commonly in other clubs shirts. Overall a nice design. It was worn as standard with blue shorts and socks with the most commonly used change being all amber.
Interestingly in the play off semi final first leg away at York a different pair of amber socks would be worn which would turn out to be the socks to be used with the new kit for the following season. This made five different versions of the home kit worn this season.
The away kit for this season was the same shirt as the third shirt from the previous season albeit with the new main sponsor and new updated socks.
Incredibly the away kit was only worn twice, away against Braintree and Darlington.
This rather nice light blue third shirt was worn more times than the away shirt this season seeing action on five occasions.
It was never released for supporters to buy so remains a rather less-remembered shirt albeit it has a rather smart design and features a centralised Errea logo.
It was worn with the away kit's shorts and socks on for the first three appearances for this shirt with the final two seeing a plain white pair of shorts worn with light blue socks with had also previously been worn with the away kit.
This home goalkeeper kit had an interesting combination of grey and green with a pattern common across both of the goalkeeper shirts from Errea this season.
As usual Alan Marriott preferred short sleeved shirts with a base layer underneath so he cut the sleeves and they have been detailed as such here.
Although this wasn't officially dedicated as the home GK shirt it was worn far more often than the other shirt this season and as such has been labelled so on here.
The alternate goalkeeper kit this season, or 'away' as labelled here, followed the same pattern as the grey kit but features a rather fetching shade of pink.
It was the first time a Mansfield kit had featured pink.
