Kit Details

Manufacturer

Castore entered their second season as the clubs kit manufacturer.

Main Sponsors

One Call Insurance continued as the sponsor of the clubs home shirt.

OCL continued as the clubs away shirt sponsor.

Bee Noticed became a shirt sponsor for the first time appearing on the front of the third shirt.

Secondary Sponsors

A Woodland and Son flooring continued to sponsor the rear of all shorts.

AGG continued as the sponsor of the rear of the away and third shirts.

Source Travel were announced on the eve of the season as the club's new sleeve sponsor across all shirts.

Home Kit

For the second shirt of Castore's time as shirt manufacturer they went for a subtle amber and yellow striped design with blue collar and for the first time a white typed version of the One Call sponsor.

The striped pattern seems to be a nod to similarly designed Stag's shirts of the mid-1980s.

Generally the shirt was received well but a few more hints of blue of sleeve cuffs and maybe a blue sponsor would have added to the shirt in my opinion.

The club wore Skybet League One patches for the very first time in this shirt away at Barnsley in the season opener as well as a new sleeve sponsor.

Away Kit

This rather 'out there' design on the away was a nod to the green an white away kits of the late 80s & early 90s for Mansfield.

This version saw a small green arrow shaped pattern repeated throughout and was released to acclaim in the majority of cases.

Again a few touches around sleeves and collars may have helped and maybe green on the shorts would have added to the kit but overall a really nice design. This shirt also saw a version of the club's badge not seen before with a split of white and green with a black Stag.

It didn't see action until November but was then used twice in quick succession for away games at Cursor Ashton (FA Cup) and Wycombe Wanderers.

Third Kit

The third shirt for this season was an all black number with a more subtle 3D square pattern on the front of the shirt only.

A rather simple design all told and resembles more of a training jersey, it saw action for the first time in the FA Cup second round in November away at Stevenage.

Goalkeeper Kit - Home

As with the previous season Castore continue with having three different goalkeeper shirts with the corresponding sponsor for home, away & third shirts.

This salmon coloured shirt is worn with the home sponsor and is the same template as the other two shirts.

Rather uninspiring on the goalkeeper shirt front this season.

Goalkeeper Kits - Away

This is a green version of the template with the away sponsor.

Goalkeeper Kits - Third & Variations

This is a light blue version of the template with the third sponsor.

On the opening day of the season this kit was worn away at Barnsley with the home kit so a makeshift 'One Call Insurance' logo was added to the front. This continued to be worn throughout the season.

The 'Bee Noticed' sponsored version first appeared in the FA Cup second round in November but used gold letters and numbering as opposed to the 'One Call' sponsored version which saw black letters and numbering added on top of the gold.

The sleeve sponsor was also different on both versions with a white version stuck on top of the gold one for the 'One Call' sponsored shirt.

Away against Burton an OCL sponsored version was worn with black sleeve sponsor meaning the third blue goalkeeper kit had seen all three main sponsors and three different coloured sleeve sponsors.

FA Cup

The first round of the FA Cup saw the white away kit and green GK kit used for the first time away at Curzon Ashton. No 'Together' patches were worn with any of the FA Cup shirt patches.

The second round away at Stevenage also saw a debut, this time for the third kit and 'Bee Noticed' blue GK shirt. Interestingly the blue GK kit used with the 'One Call' sponsor had a white sleeve sponsor and black nameset and number. For the FA cup game with the third kit the sleeve sponsor became yellow and the nameset and number became gold but remained black on the GK shorts.

The third round at home to Wigan saw the home shirt used meaning all three outfield kits and all three goalkeeper kits had been used between the three FA Cup games. Interestingly the 'Together' patches were worn in the third round on both the outfield and goalkeeper shirts as the club bowed out to Wigan Athletic.

League Cup

The club continued to wear Carabao competition sleeve patches for the second successive season as the club exited the competition at the first round on penalties away at Bolton.
