Kit Details

Manufacturer

Errea continued as the club's kit manufacturer in what would turn out to be their final season.

Main Sponsors

Greene King IPA continued to be the main shirt sponsor appearing on both the home and away shirts.

Secondary Sponsors

Local radio station Mansfield 103.2 continued to appear on the rear of the home shirt albeit this time with a simplified version of their usual logo.

Home Kit & Variations

For what turned out to be a league winning shirt this rather simple Errea design featured two vertical stripes on the front with a partial stripes on the back. It also featured bespoke club fonts for the name and number on the shirts which hadn't been seen on a Mansfield shirt since 1998/99.

It was worn in multiple configurations where interestingly the blue away shorts worn with this kit had no squad numbers on.

Away Kit & Variations

For what turned out to be Errea's final away kit for the Stags they developed a lovely white kit with amber and blue accents.

As noted above for some reason the away shorts didn't have squad numbers on whereas the home amber shorts did.

Goalkeeper Kit - Home & Variations

This rather luminous green shirt was very similar to that worn two seasons ago in 2010/11. The shirt was predominantly worn by Alan Marriott and as with previous seasons he cut the sleeves on all his shirts this season hence the graphic above being short sleeves.

For reasons unknown Marriott, for the first half or so of the season, wore Blue Square sponsored Umbro shorts without a club badge and the Errea marked ones with the club badge appeared in the Liverpool FA Cup third round, which can be seen below. A mixture of black or green socks were worn throughout the season with this shirt.

The name-set was a mixture of the same font as the main players kits (seen above) and a white name-set as seen on the red away goalkeeper shirt below.

Goalkeeper Kit - Away & Variations

This red version of the home goalkeeper shirt was predominately worn away from home with sporadic home appearances.

It was worn with the black shorts donning the club badge and Errea logo despite these shorts seemingly not worn with the home goalkeeper kit unit mid-way through the season.

This red shirt was worn with both white and black number sets and featured a different name-set to that usually seen on the green goalkeeper shirt above.

As with the green shirt Marriott cut the sleeves but Shane Redmond, who made a handful of appearances in this kit wore a long sleeved version with black cuffs.

FA Cup v Liverpool

For the third round FA Cup tie against Liverpool at Field Mill the club wore match specific lettering above and below the badge on the shirt.

This game also saw the first appearance of new goalkeeper shorts which had the club badge and Errea logo replacing the previous Umbro/Blue Square ones.
